Transparent Dome house B&B Case in mountainous area

Located in Hebei, China, there’s a camping project at an elevation of 2,096 meters. The client planned to build a series of resort units at the mountaintop. Due to the area’s poor transportation infrastructure, heavy equipment such as cranes cannot access the site, and prefabricated structures like space capsules, container houses, and foldable homes cannot be transported up the mountain. Furthermore, wind speeds on the mountain can reach up to Force 8, making ordinary PVC tents prone to being blown away or torn apart in such conditions. For these reasons, the client needed an accommodation solution that could be transported to the site in disassembled parts, while being sturdy and highly wind-resistant.

Then we comes! We provided the client with 12 pcs prefab dome houses, each measuring 25 square meters, featuring a bedroom diameter of 5.3 meters and a bathroom diameter of 2.1 meters. The dome houses feature a modular design, shipped in separate components for on-site assembly, with no specific requirements for terrain. Moreover, the main structure is highly durable, and the spherical surface minimizes wind resistance; field tests show wind resistance of approximately Force 10, making them fully suitable for mountaintop environments.
